Tour Reviews
If you want to spend ten wonderful days in Marocco, you must do this trip! Moha has accompanied us in these days and he has been our guide. He is so nice! This trip allows you to see Morocco in all its nuances. It was wonderful!
Absolutely the agency manager and our driver. They gave me a lot of help, they have high professional quality and sense of responsibility so that’s why they can give you high service level than others and this can hard to see in other countries where I had traveled.
Simply the 10 days trip to Morocco was amazing, we enjoyed exploring the beautiful country and eating great fruits and vegetables.
Tilila was a great company to go with and has great drivers. Our driver, Yassin spoke great English and was fun to talk to on the longer drives. Vehicle was a modern van with plenty of space and good A/C. Much easier to get around with a van than those large buses full of 30, 40, 50 people.
Tilila was great to work with and they reached out about and other things we wanted to see or do. You have the option of upgrading hotels if you’d like as well which was really nice.
I would recommend that if you can, you skip Casablanca and only go there for a few hours. The city is just your typical City and only a few attractions. If possible stay in Rabat the first night or somewhere along the way outside Casablanca. Rabat has a couple more interesting things to see. We also wished we could have stayed in Dades Valley longer since it’s so picturesque and the ambiance is so much more relaxed.
It was great to be able to see all of Morocco in just 10 days! What a whirlwind of a memory at this point!
It was an amaizing trip I feel like a Morroca princesss all the time. The hotel are awsome and Youssef was very kind when I got sick he got me medication and food. Good bless his hearth. I highly recomend this trip. Great people.
The tour is amazing! Tilila Travel is taking care of everyday of our trip in Morocco. We are two people only and travel from the US. Mohammed helps find a great driver for us for the 10 days and the hotel is very comfy. We also have professional tour guide with us and only for us two in Fez, Merzouga, and Marrakech!
I highly recommend our driver Mr. Walid! He is soooooooo nice and professional! He is super flexible and respects our time a lot! He has been driving for 27 years! Very nice man! I recommend you ask for him as your trip companion:) Very great experience with him!
Our travel experience with Tilila Travel with our guide Yassin was awesome. My girlfriend and I got lucky and ended-up just the two of us with Yassin for the whole tour. We then had nice and interesting conversations with Yassin all along. Hotel and Riad rooms were in great shape. Also, you might want to consider the room/tent upgrade for the night in the desert. It costed us an extra 50USD per person, but depending on what you’re looking for, it might be worth it for you. Don’t hesitate to ask for details. Mohamed, the owner, is highly responsive and very kind. It’s a lot of drive, but you get to see a lot of places for the time you have there. And, I wouldn’t skip Chefchaouen. It was one of our highlights. Also, I’m pretty sure their team counts noumerous great guides and drivers, but if you get to choose, we would highly recommend Yassin. He’s such a kind and caring person. He’s also really knowlegeable and funny. You’ll love him.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tilila! My mother and I travelled for 10 days through Morocco and Mohammed took care of absolutely everything. His service and attention to detail was above and beyond any of our expectations. He created a perfect, customized itinerary that lets us experience and learn so much about the country. The entire time in the hands of our amazing driver Abdullah who became a close friend through our trip as well as all of the wonderful local guides that were arranged throughout the trip. The accommodations were carefully thought out and customized to fit all of our wants and needs during the stay. If you are looking for a company and people who truly care about the experience they help to provide than look no further than this. Thank you Mohammed and all of the kind and gracious people of Morocco for helping creat memories that will last a lifetime.
Our Moroccan In-Depth Cultural tour with Tilila Travel was excellent. My wife and I chose the 10 day excursion beginning in Casablanca as it provided a wonderful overview of what Morocco has to offer, including its history, geography, architecture, ethnicity and food. From the outset we were contacted directly by Mohamed from Tilila Travel and had numerous conversations and messaging in advance to accommodate our needs and interests. He checked on our progress during, arranged a last minute request for a cooking class, and then met us at the end for coffee and mint tea. His warm, hands-on approach turned out to be indicative of the friendly and helpful nature of the fine people we met along this amazing journey. From the start with our very safe and competent driver and guide, Ibrahim, we were introduced to the beauty and charm of Morocco. There are not enough superlatives to describe the natural wonders, the luxurious Riad, Dar or Berber Tent, nor the exacting workmanship evident in the Kasbahs and Mosques. I will let our photos do the job. We were fortunate to be on a tour just for two, but if you select any one of Tilila’s tours, you will not be disappointed.
Let me start by saying I had a really great experience with Mohamed and Tilila Travel.
My wife booked some plane tickets to Morocco and heard from ppl that getting a tour guide was the way to go. We typically don’t on trips we take but I contacted a number of companies to get quotes on packages they offered. We ultimately went with Tilila for a few reasons:
– responses were quick and in clear English
– Mohamed took the time to answer all questions and was flexible with any updates to the itinerary
– their quoted price was very competitive
– reviews online were good
The point about reviews was a tricky one b/c I had a nagging feeling reading them wondering if they were legit reviews or just some shady agency creating ghost accounts to post glowing reviews (this wasn’t specific to Tilila). Ultimately I paid the 10% deposit and took the plunge. Other agencies I’d talked to were asking for 100% of the payment upfront and they’re probably fine but I just wasn’t comfortable with that.
Having just gotten back from Morocco, I can 100% say I’m glad I booked a guide and specifically Tilila Travel. We did the 10 day trip in a private vehicle with just the two of us starting in Casablanca and ending in Marrakech. All the reviews and pictures are great but it is a lot of driving and time in a car to get around the country. I probably fell asleep in the car on every leg of the trip and it was nice knowing that I could sleep and not have to worry about driving in a foreign country while tired. There are a lot(!) of police stops on the roads checking speeds and I probably would have gotten more than one ticket if I were driving so this was another thing to not have to worry about.
I was a little worried with all the time in the car with just the driver that it would be awkward but we had pleasant experiences with ours. We had Hassan and Khalid for different portions of the trip but both were really cool. Both shared knowledge of the areas we were driving through, both skillful drivers, and made the travel a breeze. There wasn’t any pressure from them to hurry through a given stop and allowed as much time as we wanted. I lost my sunglasses and asked Hassan to see if we could stop somewhere to get a new pair which led us to a local market in a small village for a random stop on the trip. Wasn’t able to get a new pair there but got some delicious popcorn while we got to catch a glimpse of local life in the market. Not something we would have done or found without a guide I don’t think.
Since they both spoke Berber and Arabic, it made coordinating so much easier when they’d call the dar/riads to schedule porters to come pick us up and drop us off when cars couldn’t go into the old medinas. Another bonus of getting a guide.
Overall we had a wonderful time in Morocco and in no small part to Mohamed (who btw does exist b/c we met him at a cafe in Marrakech to catch up)and team. Would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for a guide in Morocco.
