You have a full day to explore the beauty of this largely untouched Moroccan backcountry.

On foot is the best way to discover the natural and man-made landscape and the rural way of life.

There are a couple of circuits to choose from, but the most popular choice, and the one we recommend, is a 10 kilometre circuit that will take about four hours.

Accompanied by a local guide, you’ll walk a trail that undulates slightly here and there, but isn’t too challenging if you have a basic level of fitness.

On the walk you’ll pass Berber villages, meeting local Berbers along the way and perhaps having a chance to share a cup of mint tea with some of them.

The surrounding mountains and the famous Rose Valley make a sensational setting.

Chefchaouen City Tour with local guide :

Chefchaouen or Chaouen, as it is often called by Moroccans, is a popular tourist destination because of its proximity to Tangier and the Spanish enclave of Ceuta.

The name refers to the shape of the mountain tops above the town, that look like the two horns (chaoua) of a goat. « Chef Chaouen » derives from the Berber word for horns, Ichawen.

There are approximately two hundred hotels catering to the summer influx of European tourists.

One distinction possessed by Chefchaouen is its blue-rinsed houses and buildings.

Chefchaouen is a popular shopping destination as well, as it offers many native handicrafts that are not available elsewhere in Morocco, such as wool garments and woven blankets.

The goat cheese native to the area is also popular with tourists.

The growing tourist industry is geared especially towards Spanish tourists, who are especially numerous during great Catholic feasts like Semana Santa and Christmas.

Chefchaouen was visited by Joe Orton and Kenneth Halliwell in 1967.

They adored it finding it « very ‘Golden Bough-ish’ Orton mentions their trip in the Orton Diaries.

There are a number of distinct mosques in the town. Aside from the mosque at Place Uta Hammam in the medina, there is also a mosque dedicated to the patron saint of Northern Morocco’s Jebalah region, Moulay Abdeslam Ben Mchich Alami.

His tomb and the village surrounding it is by the way an hour’s drive or so from Chefchaouen on the old road to Larache.

There is also a ruined mosque built by the Spanish, with stairs still in the tower. Overnight at the Hotel in Chefchaouen:

  • Alcazaba of Chefchaouen
  • White Mosque
  •  Place el Haouta
  • Spanish mosque
  • The City of Chefchaouen

The beaches and bays are popular for sun-worshipping, swimming, yachting, jet-skiing and kite-surfing.

Tangier’s cultural buzz is growing ever stronger, boasting pretty, bustling corniches, many new businesses, and a marina and TGV line to Casablanca.

Hoteliers, restaurateurs and boutique owners have brought a fresh feeling to the area, while historic libraries and interesting bars keep the city’s bohemian old-world charm intact.

Our family of four (kids aged 17 & 12) has just returned from a wonderful 16 day/4500km tour of beautiful Morocco with Tilila Travel. Mohamed was brilliant to work with - putting together a cost conscious, private package that suited our comfort level & interests while ensuring we covered the most interesting aspects in each region of this large & diverse country.I was initially nervous using a local travel agency outside of my own country, but Mohamed’s level of engagement and excellent reviews from others put me at ease. His customer service was top notch with quick email responses to our questions, thoughtful itinerary suggestions & seamless coordination of all logistics on our tailor made tour. Mohamed created a personalised travel experience that other package tour companies were not able to. We simply could not have seen & done as much without his assistance. He even organised a delicious birthday cake for my husband & popped by the restaurant to meet us & hand deliver it!Mohamed provided several hotel options at each location in our price range so I could research the pros & cons of each and make an informed choice that suited our family’s needs. We are not early risers when on holiday and did not want to drive for multiple hours every single day, so Mohamed ensured our activities and daily travel plans fit this criteria. But do make sure you get up early for the sunrise balloon ride in Marrakesh - breathtakingly beautiful & a complete highlight! Our van driver and guide Tawfiq was such a friendly, reliable & knowledgeable guy. He immediately put us all at ease and was always there with a positive attitude & welcoming smile. He was especially great with our kids too, joking around & keeping them buoyant on long, tiring days. We really appreciated his fantastic translating & advocacy skills when we had a couple of hiccups along the way. Some of the mountain roads were quite steep, winding & narrow but Tawfiq’s steady driving was impeccable. Spending many hours together travelling in the van we got to hear so much about the history & culture of Morocco from him, you just couldn’t get that experience any other way. Thank you so much for everything Tawfiq! We would not hesitate to recommend Mohamed & Tawfiq at Tilila Travel to anyone wanting to visit their beautiful country. You will see so much and be well looked after!

From the first time I contacted Tilila Travel, Mohamed answered every email right away. I told him where we would like to go and what we wanted to see. He sent me a possible itinerary for 14 days including sights to see and options for places to stay. For the next several months I asked many questions and wanted changes made to the itinerary. Shortly before leaving I needed to add 2 more days to our itinerary because our arrival was going to be earlier than originally planned. Mohamed willingly made changes to the itinerary to accommodate our earlier arrival. Mohamed was always patient, ready to help and offered suggestions. He was very professional and easy to work with. Mohamed met us in Marrakech at a sidewalk cafe the last afternoon of our adventure. He wanted to know how our trip had been.We had two excellent drivers, Tawfiq and Mustapha. Both were so much fun and took care of all our needs. They took care of our luggage, checked us into the Riads or hotels and made sure we had everything we needed. If something came up we knew we could call them but we never needed to. They even bought a stool so that it would be easier for me to get into the van. They made sure we did everything that was on our itinerary and even had extra ideas on things to do or see if time permitted. They were always on time or early to pick us up. One of our best meals was the night we went with them to dinner at one of the local restaurants that they were going to go to. When they took us to the airport Tawfiq was able to get us in the terminal past the long line at the entrance. Also both were able to go into the terminal with us to help with the luggage and questions at the checkin counter. Tawfiq and Mustapha made our trip to Morocco special. It would not have been near as much fun without them.Thank you to Mohamed, Mustapha and Tawfiq for making Morocco such a memorable trip and sharing your culture with us. I highly recommend Tilila Travel.

We did a tour of Morocco with Tawfiq who was out driver and guide. We started from Casablanca through Marrakech, Ait ben Haddou , Ziz oasis through the desert and finally up north through Fez and Chefchaouen and ending in Tangier. This was a long trip and through all of it Tawfiq was super helpful and great company. We also had excellent guides in Marrakech, Fez and Chefchaouen. Everyone was very hospitable and flexible throughout the trip, patiently answered our questions and catered to how we wanted the guided tours. Highly recommend!!Out of all the destinations we thought we could have skipped Merzouga desert camp and spent an extra day in Fez or Tangier.

Mohammad was the reliable person I could count on for our vacation in Morocco. If we had any questions, we asked, and he answered. Given the time difference, it was usually rather immediate. If any issue arose during the trip, he took care of it at his best. We traveled with Fatah, a young driver who accommodated our needs as much as possible. Amal, a guide we had in Fez, was funny and made the walking tour interesting.

We started our Morocco our trip planning through Rough Guides and they put us in contact with Tilila Travel. Mohamed has great to work with. This company offers wonderful tours probably like most companies, however what makes them more appealing is the flexible approach where possible. That included for us a change of itinerary. Mohamed & his excellent team provided us with safe driver, amazingly thought out accommodation & a great holiday.

This review is for a day trip, not the multiple day tours. When booking with this tour provider, the 5-star reviews and the sustainability page convinced us that we were choosing a tour that – unlike the much cheaper options – would consider the well-being of the camels, reflected in the higher price. When speaking with the company on the phone, they confirmed that the animals were well cared for and only did one tour a day. Unfortunately, we soon realized we were on the same tour as everyone else. The camels had just returned from a previous tour, and we were asked to hop on immediately. They were given no break. The setup was okay, but it didn’t really feel like a desert experience with all the electricity towers in the background and other tours going on. However, fine not a big problem. The camel guide walked us around, but since he didn’t speak English, he couldn’t explain anything about the animals. Quad drivers constantly crossed our path, leaving us in clouds of dust. It felt more like a fairground than a peaceful camel ride.On a positive note, our driver Yassin was super nice and caring! After the camel ride, he took us to a lovely camp where we had dinner with live music. We enjoyed that part of the trip.Overall, we felt deceived, thinking we were paying extra for the well-being of the camels, only to realize that the sustainability claims on their website were not very accurate, and they simply told us what we wanted to hear. Personally, I recommend avoiding the camel tours altogether - not matter how expensive they are. Even though the camels looked okay I don’t wanna know how many tours they have to do every day.

I just completed the 15 day Best of Morocco and Imperial Cities offered by Tilila Travel. It was an eye opening and wonderful experience. My driver Mostapha was professional, always pleasant, and a great driver. I always felt safe.I feel like I saw Morocco with this itinerary. From the north, to the mountains, to the desert, through the south and to the Atlantic coast, I was absorbed in the culture and food of Morocco and the differences of each region with this itinerary. I stayed in Riads with warm, friendly, welcoming people and didn’t feel like a tourist. There was always excellent communication from the owner of this company, Mohammed, before, during, and after my trip, ensuring a personal, memorable, experience.I highly recommend this itinerary and most of all this tour company.

When considering Morocco this spring, I did research and requested quotes from different travel companies. I settled on Tilila Travel based on the itinerary and price. I travel private/solo so I am used to the additional cost but Mohamed made sure to advise me of the solo cost, which I appreciated. But I got much more than just a good itinerary and reasonable price. The service and communication from Mohamed and my driver, Yassin, was some of the best of the tour companies I have used. Mohamed was very responsive before and and checked on me during my trip. Yassin was a great, personable, knowledgeable and experienced driver. When my luggage was lost on arrival in Marrakech, he helped me retrieve it. I enjoyed the riads/hotels and their locations. The vehicle was a nice vehicle, very comfortable. The guides chosen for the two cities were knowledgeable and the tours were interesting. Tilila is professional, courteous and responsive. You never know when you're trying to pick a tour company based on online reviews. I found what was written in the reviews I read prior to my trip to be true of the service of Tilila. Mohamed does a great job with this company. Morocco is a beautiful and fascinating country. If you are on the fence about traveling here, do it and use Tilila!

My friend and I went on a private 11-day tour of Morocco with Tilila Travel in April 2024. Our guide/driver was personable and excellent at getting us around, helping with luggage, and explaining the culture of Morocco. We had 4 star accomodations, and we came away with a great appreciation of the country and the people.

One of best trips we had! We explored almost all the major cities in Morocco and the Tilila travel has really planned & executed everything in a good way. We travelled with our 1.5 years old kid, but our trip went smoothly without any discomfort. Our guide Mr. Hassan, who travelled with us throughout the trip was very friendly and humble. He was also very co-operative and adjusts with our needs ( stopped whenever we asked, helped carrying our luggages). So it was a pleasant journey for us and I would definitely recommend this travels if you’re looking for a family vacation in Morocco😊😊

Booked the Ourika valley, atlas mountains and berber villages via TUI app. Excellent communication, wonderful driver Yassin. Who was helpful and explained everything to us. Smooth journey in air conditioned mini bus. Stopped along the way for photos and toilet stop. Handed us over to the excellent local guide in Ourika. Who was polite, kind and helpful. Both of them giving lots of info and answering questions. No pressure to buy things in berber villages .Then had a good lunch by the river and brought back to our hotel. All in all a very good trip. Would highly recommend especially Yassin. Thanks!

We arranged a 17 day private trip through Morocco with Tilila Travel. We contacted Mohamed who was helpful and very responsive as we set up the itinerary so we could arrive and depart from Casablanca. Our itinerary took us from Tangier in the north to Merzouga and the desert in the south. We were fortunate to have Khalid as our driver for the whole trip, and enjoyed many conversations and insights into the country as we drove between locations. It made the trip much more relaxing. There was a lot of distance to cover in our itinerary so it was beneficial to have a Khalid, who we could consider a friend, so we could watch the changing scenery, be flexible on timings and have no concerns over the route. The hotels suggested by Mohamed were all excellent ranging from palatial Riads to quiet resorts. We were travelling in off season in January, so many hotels and restaurants were very quiet, but the weather was perfect throughout our trip. It is definitely a good time to visit Morocco.Mohamed also checked in with us during the trip to make sure we were fine and took the time to come and meet with us when we were in Marrakech, which was much appreciated. Can certainly recommend working with Tilila and Mohamed for your trip to Morocco.

We just finished our tour yesterday. We love our tour guide, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this tour. The tour has great balance among culture, nature, and historical sites. Our guide is super patient, kind, and attentive. He waited for our slow walking family members. When someone needs bathroom or water stop, he finds the clean roadside restaurants/shops. We have took guided tours in different countries. Our Morocco guide is head and shoulder above all the other tour guides we had before.Above was my trip in 2019. I just went again in March 2023. The tour is well organized. Itinerary was given to us in advance. There’s no surprise. Everything went smoothly. The driver was waiting for us at the airport. He drives the whole tour, polite, helpful, and always on time. The city guide in Fez was exceptional, she tailored tour to our specific interests. The cooking class arranged by Mohammed, the owner of Tilila Tour was amazing. Every time I make those dishes, I will be thinking about this trip. It was a great memory making trip.

What an incredible experience! Morocco truly holds a special place in every aspect, from its people to the cuisine, the captivating sites, and rich history—making our trip unforgettable. Mohamed from Tilila Travel, curated a uniquely exceptional experience for us; we coordinated the locations and timing, and he delivered a five-star service. Beginning our journey in Casablanca, the moment Yassin picked us up from the airport in a comfortable van, we sensed the excellence that awaited us throughout the trip.Yassin proved to be the trip's greatest asset, excelling as a driver—cautious, responsible, and, most importantly, punctual at every stage of the journey. Exploring a total of nine places, we truly immersed ourselves in every little corner, including Casablanca, Rabat, Fes (a special shoutout to Tami), Chefchaouen, Merzouga, and the Sahara Desert (love my camel from the camel ride), Valley of Dades, Marrakesh (Hanan was very nice), and Essaouira. Chefchaouen, camping in the Desert, and Essaouira emerged as my personal favorites. Now, let's talk about the food – oh my God, it was absolutely fantastic, fresh, and incredibly tasty. The tagine, the couscous, the lamb, the bread, the incredibly tasty olive oil – everything was delicious. If I were to change something, it would probably be the timing of our visit. I'd consider returning in March since we missed out on the opportunity to take a refreshing dip in a pool or the ocean due to the temperature.

Let me start by saying I had a really great experience with Mohamed and Tilila Travel. My wife booked some plane tickets to Morocco and heard from ppl that getting a tour guide was the way to go. We typically don't on trips we take but I contacted a number of companies to get quotes on packages they offered. We ultimately went with Tilila for a few reasons:- responses were quick and in clear English- Mohamed took the time to answer all questions and was flexible with any updates to the itinerary- their quoted price was very competitive- reviews online were goodThe point about reviews was a tricky one b/c I had a nagging feeling reading them wondering if they were legit reviews or just some shady agency creating ghost accounts to post glowing reviews (this wasn't specific to Tilila). Ultimately I paid the 10% deposit and took the plunge. Other agencies I'd talked to were asking for 100% of the payment upfront and they're probably fine but I just wasn't comfortable with that.Having just gotten back from Morocco, I can 100% say I'm glad I booked a guide and specifically Tilila Travel. We did the 10 day trip in a private vehicle with just the two of us starting in Casablanca and ending in Marrakech. All the reviews and pictures are great but it is a lot of driving and time in a car to get around the country. I probably fell asleep in the car on every leg of the trip and it was nice knowing that I could sleep and not have to worry about driving in a foreign country while tired. There are a lot(!) of police stops on the roads checking speeds and I probably would have gotten more than one ticket if I were driving so this was another thing to not have to worry about.I was a little worried with all the time in the car with just the driver that it would be awkward but we had pleasant experiences with ours. We had Hassan and Khalid for different portions of the trip but both were really cool. Both shared knowledge of the areas we were driving through, both skillful drivers, and made the travel a breeze. There wasn't any pressure from them to hurry through a given stop and allowed as much time as we wanted. I lost my sunglasses and asked Hassan to see if we could stop somewhere to get a new pair which led us to a local market in a small village for a random stop on the trip. Wasn't able to get a new pair there but got some delicious popcorn while we got to catch a glimpse of local life in the market. Not something we would have done or found without a guide I don't think.Since they both spoke Berber and Arabic, it made coordinating so much easier when they'd call the dar/riads to schedule porters to come pick us up and drop us off when cars couldn't go into the old medinas. Another bonus of getting a guide.Overall we had a wonderful time in Morocco and in no small part to Mohamed (who btw does exist b/c we met him at a cafe in Marrakech to catch up)and team. Would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for a guide in Morocco.

We had the most unforgettable experience with Tilila Travel where we booked a 8 day tour here.Mohammed was extremely accommodating to our needs and had the route mapped out perfectly to include meaningful stops and sights along the way. Everything was organised with ease.Big thanks to our driver, Yassin, who was extremely helpful, caring, kind and professional. He made the long drive between different cities more interesting. Not only he shared with us insights to Moroccan life and his own life experiences, but also took good care of us (since we were just 2 girls travelling)! Good communication and everything on time. We couldn’t recommend him enough.Overall, we had a wonderful trip!

Our Moroccan In-Depth Cultural tour with Tilila Travel was excellent. My wife and I chose the 10 day excursion beginning in Casablanca as it provided a wonderful overview of what Morocco has to offer, including its history, geography, architecture, ethnicity and food. From the outset we were contacted directly by Mohamed from Tilila Travel and had numerous conversations and messaging in advance to accommodate our needs and interests. He checked on our progress during, arranged a last minute request for a cooking class, and then met us at the end for coffee and mint tea. His warm, hands-on approach turned out to be indicative of the friendly and helpful nature of the fine people we met along this amazing journey. From the start with our very safe and competent driver and guide, Ibrahim, we were introduced to the beauty and charm of Morocco. There are not enough superlatives to describe the natural wonders, the luxurious Riad, Dar or Berber Tent, nor the exacting workmanship evident in the Kasbahs and Mosques. I will let our photos do the job. We were fortunate to be on a tour just for two, but if you select any one of Tilila's tours, you will not be disappointed.

The 11 days tour in Morocco was a wonderful trip. Our favorite sites were Fez and the Sahara Desert. Everything went smooth and our driver Yassin was always friendly and alert in the road do my husband and I could enjoy the landscape or take a nap if needed, to be ready for the next stop. I highly recommend this agency.

Morocco is a country full of surprises. The scenery is beautiful, with so many historic sites to visit. But the most surprising is its people: kind and very sociable.Tilila Travel assigned Khalid as our travel companion, and the experience was fantastic, including the fact that my husband and Khalid became instant buddies. We laughed a lot and learned firsthand about life in Morocco. Khalid also invited us to visit his Mother's home, and we enjoyed the best couscous I had!Mohamed responded to my inquiry from the first day I showed interest in a matter of one hour. The organization of the tour and the hotels, riads, was very good, especially the one in Dades Valley. We would have chosen a short skip in Meknes and a shorter stay in Fes but to stay one more day and night in the desert: it is overwhelmingly beautiful. And perhaps another day to rest at the Beach in Essaouira. The vacation was great, not even a hiccup. We are very happy.

We booked the private camel ride experience and had the most amazing time. The communication in advance was excellent and our driver collected us from the door of the hotel and chatted and answered all of our questions on the way there and back.Everyone that we met once we arrived at the camels was lovely and friendly and chatted and made us laugh while the dressed us up. The actual camel ride was such fun and they took lots of photos for us on my phone.I loved every minute 🙂

A wonderful tour with a wonderful driver. Khalid. Outstanding scenery and itinerary. The local guides were knowledgable and flexible. This small group tour should be the first option over large group coach tours and independent travel. It is an exceptional way to begin to see the beautiful country of Morocco. We highly recommend this company

As other reviewers have said, don’t hesitate to book your Morocco tour with Tilila!I took a 9-day customized, private tour as a solo, middle aged female traveler going to Morocco for the first time. I have to admit I was a bit nervous going to a country where women may be treated differently than they are in the U.S., where I don’t speak any of the official languages, spending more than a week with a stranger driving me around, and about the legitimacy of the arrangement to pay a deposit by wire and then show up at the airport and hand the driver an envelope full of cash for the remainder. But all of my fears were for nothing. I had the most incredible trip and I am so glad I chose Tilila Travel. There were no surprises about the accommodations, itinerary, or payment. Everything went as planned.Mohamed, the owner/manager of Tilila was patient with my many questions as I was debating what I wanted to include in my itinerary and the dates of travel. He answered my questions clearly and fully and was available by email or What’s App from pre-booking throughout the trip.My driver, Khalid, made me feel safe and at ease from the moment he picked me up at the airport. He speaks English well enough that there were never any communication problems, whether it was talking about the itinerary, local cultures, the landscape, or just sharing life stories. He shared his knowledge freely and was honest if he didn’t know the answer to my question, which was rare. He gave me tips for enjoying each location, taught me a few phrases in Arabic and Amazirgh (Berber), and pointed out interesting land formations or landmarks along the drive. He really went above and beyond when I slipped on wet tile and fell on my tailbone at a bathroom stop in Errachidia. Although I didn’t think the injury was serious Khalid insisted on doing whatever made me most comfortable and we ended up getting the X-rays to be sure there was no serious problem. Khalid and the manager of the gas station/restaurant where we stopped to use the restroom accompanied me to the local hospital, helped me with paperwork and translations, and stayed with me while I waited for X-rays. It set that day’s itinerary back a few hours. It was already a long drive that day and Khalid never seemed rushed or frustrated about the wrench in the day. In fact after the hospital we stayed to eat lunch at the restaurant where I fell and it was the best food I had in all of Morocco (which is a land of excellent food). If you are traveling between Merzouga and Fes ask to stop for lunch at Lune de Desert in Errachidia! We had the kefta and chicken tagine and both were phenomenal. Throughout the tour Khalid kept me safe and I enjoyed getting to know him.I chose the 3-star accommodation option over the 4-star option and glad I did as to me it seems like the 3-star options have a bit more character. Mohamed provided examples of each before I booked and there were no surprises between the examples and where I actually stayed. My favorite was Riad Dar Nadwa in Marrakesh. I enjoyed how nicely appointed everything was and the host was very welcoming. The room was incredibly spacious and beautiful. Mohamed also stopped by the Riad to meet me in person there one day, which was a nice gesture and I enjoyed getting to know him a bit more. My least favorite was Hotel Ziryab in Chefchaouen. The bed wasn’t as comfortable as the other accommodations and the property generally seemed a bit more run down than the others. However, all accommodations were clean and in excellent locations with hot showers. Most had very comfy beds, a/c, and spacious and quiet rooms. A few had pools though I didn’t use any of them. One had dinner included and the food there was very good.Local guides in Marrakesh and Fes were also good and I felt safe with them in the busy souks. I’m not a big shopper and the guides didn’t pressure me to shop.Overall it was an amazing trip and I highly recommend Tilila Travel!

We had the most beautiful experience with Tilila Travel where we booked a desert tour to Zagora, Marocco. It is a long trip from Marrakech to the desert and we were a bit scared at the beginning because of the distance but we don‘t regret anything as we had the best driver you can immagine. Khalid, the driver turned the long way to the desert camp into a wonderful experience for us. He integrated several stops and so we visited the most hidden local berber street markets far away from the tourist crowds as well as pottery shops from local berber manufacturers and artists where you can find the most wonderful pottery dishes and kitchen tools as well as baskets of course all handmade and often from women for little money - no comparison to the extremely expensive souks in Marrakech where everyone sells the same things. Khalid also brought us to spots with breathtaking views allthrough the ATLAS mountains, delicious tajine restaurants and small places just for a coffee or tea break. The trip is worth to be done even if you are not interested in the desert. Just ask for a tour through Marocco with Khalid. You will not regret it. I did the trip with my two teenage and adult children and they were all impressed about what we came to see and discover. A wonderful experience and Marocco is so much more than Marrakech but you need a good and experienced driver with cultural and social skills and good language skills. So if you book with Tilila, ask for Khalid.☺️👍

The camel ride was a brilliant experience! I had been long put off camel rides due to worries of the welfare of the camels but I thoroughly enjoyed this! The camels were very happy, my only issue was the back one was tied too close to the front one. But other than that they were friendly and calm, not an expert but looked in relatively good condition! Our driver Khalid was especially good and ensured we had an enjoyable trip all round. The team in Agafay desert were brilliant and really looked after us. Thank you very much!

This was a great tour from Tilila Travel and Mohammad was extremely helpful in helping us plan what we wanted to do including extra options like quad biking in the Sahara. Mohammad also helped us plan an extra day to our tour after we had already booked the 8 day but realized our flights would work better with an extra day. Our driver, Khalid, made our trip worthwhile - he was extremely friendly and helpful from the start. He was able to give us insights to Moroccan life from general information and also his own life experiences which elevated our time spent in the country. He was a great travel companion and made the longer drives between the locations enjoyable. Khalid had friends in every city which helped him give us food recommendations pretty much everywhere we went! I was visiting Morocco with my boyfriend and after seeing some reviews on other sites for larger tour groups written by women, I was fearful of not feeling safe but I would recommend this group (and Khalid specifically) to anyone traveling, solo or in a group. I felt safe the entire time and was able to relax and enjoy my vacation which is a privilege I have not had in some other countries on similar type tours.

I am very glad that we went with Tilila travel. I researched many companies but really liked Tilila travel, Mohamad's responses and the online reviews. Mohamed really took care of us through out the 9 day trip for all of us. We are a group of 10 friends who travel internationally and this time we chose Morocco. We covered a lot of places during this time from high Atlas to Sahara and many Medinas and kasbahs. We all had a wonderful time in Morocco. The hotels/Rayads choices were excellent and very close to the main attractions. Thank you so much Mohamad for showing us your beautiful country and an opportunity to meet many awesome people like yourself, Ayeman and others. We will cherish these moments and hopefully meet again in near future. Thank you again!!

Very nice day of visit of Marrakech with guide and private driver. We had a lot of explanations from our guide, it was very interesting and both the guide and the driver were very friendly. We discovered the souks as we would never have dared to do it alone.Small drawbacks: Be sure to book the majorelle garden in advance. We didn't do the Saadian tombs after all. The Bahia Palace is also extra. We didn't have the right to tea because we didn't buy a carpet. And above all, we are a little too pushed to spend in the souks so plan a budget and prepare yourself mentally. But otherwise the guide is great, he really took the time, he even went well over the time he was supposed to finish so thank you very much! He helped us negotiate and took us to the best places in the souk to get quality.I recommend it to you.

Had the best time Quad biking in the desert. We were collected from our hotel and taken to the quad bike centre. We were given helmets and goggles and given a demonstration of how to use the bikes and after a practice we started our journey in the desert. We stopped at a lovely village and given mint tea, bread and honey and olives. The guide and people were very friendly and made our experience special by taking photos using our cameras. I would definitely recommend this experience as it's like nothing else, the views in the desert of the mountains are spectacular.

Our travel experience with Tilila Travel with our guide Yassin was awesome. My girlfriend and I got lucky and ended-up just the two of us with Yassin for the whole tour. We then had nice and interesting conversations with Yassin all along. Hotel and Riad rooms were in great shape. Also, you might want to consider the room/tent upgrade for the night in the desert. It costed us an extra 50USD per person, but depending on what you’re looking for, it might be worth it for you. Don’t hesitate to ask for details. Mohamed, the owner, is highly responsive and very kind. It’s a lot of drive, but you get to see a lot of places for the time you have there. And, I wouldn’t skip Chefchaouen. It was one of our highlights. Also, I’m pretty sure their team counts noumerous great guides and drivers, but if you get to choose, we would highly recommend Yassin. He’s such a kind and caring person. He’s also really knowlegeable and funny. You’ll love him.

The tour was very busy and covered a lot of ground. We saw almost all of Morocco. Our driver was excellent and took care of all of our needs. You can read in other reviews all the things that you see and do, there were so-so many. It was mostly successful with one hiccup in Fes, where we had a bad experience with the Riad booked for us.But I have to agree with everybody else that Muhammad and the company are exceptional in checking in and correcting anything that isn't satisfactory.FEW hints to get the most out of this trip: Make sure that you are provided with a driver fluent in your language.Always drink bottled water.Do due diligence on the hotels offered, in case you prefer a different location. Mohammed will gladly give you another option

My partner and I took a private tour with Tilla Tours. We had an amazing tour guide and driver, Karim. We had a limited amount of time, but wanted to see as much of Morocco as we could. Karim helped us manage our time so that we could see as much as possible. We had plenty of stops for pictures. Karim answered any questions we had and explained to us many aspects of Moroccan culture. If you’re unsure about taking this tour, do it. And try to get Karim as your tour guide. He was amazing. I wish we could tip him a million dollars 🙂
Amazing trip with great driver Mohamed! If you are traveling to in Morocco you must do this trip.It was very cheap and I would love to do it again.Best travel agency ever
